Jesus Generation: Cults

Many years back, and we think that they did not have trouble with religion. But the Bible has so much information on different false teachings, which produced cultic groups and beliefs after Jesus' time Many had turned from Jesus because of these teachings and prophets. One thing they didn't have then was, there was no Jesus to rebuke them. No one really had the courage to rebuke and really stand up to do things Jesus would have done. There were many attempts, some which were in vain and some in faith. But hardened hearts will always be hard unless it is God's will to soften it and to open it up for rebuke. Jesus is the key to all these. That is why I believe that modern time believers should stand up more for their faith. We should learn, absorb more truth so that when we are needed to defend our faith we would be able to do it, and we would be called good and faithful servants. There is nothing wrong with soaking yourself into doctrine and truth of God. It is even better to do so, so that we won't be pulled away by life's strong currents because we have an anchor which is securely anchored on the rock, Jesus.
I salute Jesus. Though He has been persecuted and hated, He has risen above all that and until now is still so famous among great minds. He has captured hearts and minds because He is not just phenomenal, but extraordinary and above all else.

Many years back, the man Jesus was crucified for telling the truth. With that he also defeated and overcame death and paid for all men's sin. But despite his good heart, he was persecuted and anybody who followed him and believed in his death and resurrection, were also persecuted.
Now, his followers are being persecuted and put to invisible trials because of him. Whatever did he do that he and his followers deserve this? Christianity had started at the birth of Christ. He had taught us that God is already ruling in this present age and even in the past. We do not necessarily see it especially those who do not have an intimate, personal relationship with Christ. But inspite its invisibility, we should know that he is presently active in our lives.  We are able to understand that when we repent and accept him into our hearts as ruler of our life. His grace is everywhere, and those who are ignorant or those who choose not to see it are missing out on a massive blessing of life.
This is why we believers of Christ should spread the gospel truth and shine the light of Jesus on those lives that are so dark. I will not be ashamed of the gospel because he who is in me is greater that any persecutor in the world. If my God is with me, whom then shall I fear? I will not fear and continue to praise him because he is my victory and I am indeed victorious because of the power of Christ! Who are you to keep God's truth just within you? Go!
